G-K was awarded the contract to assist in the design and completely install HVAC systems for the Podium portion of the Fontainebleau Resort being built on the North end of the Las Vegas strip.  Fontainebleau stands 64 stories and contains 3,800 hotel rooms and the approximate cost of the project is 3 billion dollars.  The Podium portion of the project consists of the resort’s casino, pool deck, retail stores, restaurants, and theatre and meeting rooms.   Pounds of ductwork installed are in the millions.  Gallagher-Kaiser is responsible for assisting in design, 3-D Coordination of MEP contractors, and the installation of ductwork and equipment associated with HVAC systems.
